What Is a Screw Pile?
A screw pile is mainly used as a foundation for solar panel mounts.
It is costly and time-consuming to pour concrete on a large site and install the foundation for the panel mounts.

The shape of screw piles should be selected according to the condition of the ground into which the screw piles are to be screwed.
- Ground Screw Piles
This is a commonly used type of screw pile. It is shaped like a large wood screw and has a spiral projection of about half of its overall length. This type is the least expensive. - Large Screw Piles
Large screw piles have larger spiral wings than standard screw piles. The wider wings provide a stronger pull on the ground and increase the vertical strength of the pile. They are best suited for use in agricultural land where the ground is relatively weak and soft. - Spiral Piles
Spiral piles are shaped more like a screw itself than a screw shape. Leaving the top flange and a few dozen centimeters of a single pipe section, the rest of the pile is formed in the shape of a screw. This shape provides a very high stabilizing effect in any kind of ground.
All are hot-dip galvanized, so they will not rust or corrode even if used outdoors for long periods of time.
